Leaves are Falling Down

(Sing to the tune of London Bridge is Falling Down) Use scarves and/or felt leaves:

All the leaves are falling down, falling down, falling down (wave scarves overhead)
All the leaves are falling down, down to the ground (let scarves fall to the ground)
Rake the leaves and pile them high, pile them high, pile them high (rake scarves)
Rake the leaves and pile them high – way up to the sky (rake into a pile)
Take the leaves and jump right in, jump right in, jump right in (jump into the center pile)
Take the leaves and jump right in – then we'll play again

Windy Weather

(done in pairs)

Windy weather, windy weather,
(face each other standing or seated; hands meet partners hands like pat-a-cake, circle hands against partners together; one side & then the other)
When the wind blows,
(keep circling)
We all come together
(give a hug)

(Verse 2 – same motions, but add hands up & down)

Snowy weather, snowy weather
When the snow falls
We all come together

(Verse 3 – continue pressing hands & raise arms overhead)

Sunny weather, sunny weather,
When the sun shines
We all come together

Skidamrink

Skidamrink-a-dink, a-dink,a dink
(kids step or jump side to side)
Skidamrink-a-doo
I..love...you..
(pause center & cross arms over chest with "I" then "love" and uncross arms & point forward for "you")
Oh, skidamirink-a-dink, a-dink
Skidamrink-a-doo
I..love...you..
I love you in the morning
(arms overhead, round like a sun)
And in the afternoon
(lean sun over to the side)
I love you in the evening
(squat down lower arms)
And underneath the moon
(squat down to the floor, hands to floor, jump feet behind & back in again)
Oh, skidamirink-a-dink, a-dink
Skidamrink-a-doo
(stand-up & cross arms over chest again & point forward to others)
I..love..you..And you, and you, and you (Tall Pines version)

Jingle Bells

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
jingle all the way!
Oh, what fun it is to ride
in a one horse open sleigh,
HEY!
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
jingle all the way!
Oh, what fun it is to ride
in a one horse open sleigh,
HEY!
Dashing through the snow,
in a one horse open sleigh,
over the fields we go,
laughing all the way!
Bells on bob-tail ring,
making spirits bright.
What fun it is to ride and sing
a sleighing song tonight!
OHHH. . .

May There Always be Sunshine

May there always be sunshine.
May there always be blue skies.
May there always be (Mommies).
May there always be me.

The Little Christmas Tree

One little Christmas Tree,
standing all alone.
His heart was very sad,
he didn't have a home.
Then CHOP went the axe,
and down went the tree,
and away he went,
with the happy family!

The Snowman

Once there was a snowman,
a snowman, a snowman.
Once there was a snowman,
tall, tall, tall.
In the sun he melted,
he melted, he melted.
In the sun he melted,
small, small, small.
